The Beaches Hotel is perfect for family getaways! My kids loved playing on the nearby sandy beach. The pools were a hit too—great for cooling off after a day in the sun. The family room was spacious and had a lovely sea view.

My wife says that the menu could use more variety for families.

Oh, the delights of dining at The Beaches! The cooked breakfast was pure magic—juicy, fluffy pancakes with a side of superb sausage that could have made a vegan weep! And don’t even get me started on the nearby kosher local eats. Paanshee’s flavors were bang on! Just what my taste buds were after! Plus, the bar staff were a right laugh!

The shower was colder than a freezer in December, and I was left with that chilly sensation all weekend! The room was pricier than a fancy Welsh rarebit for a cramped space with a dodgy view of an abandoned Pontins. Not ideal for what I splashed out for.

It was just a smart choice for a transient visit in Prestatyn with decent value for money. The staff were friendly and Julia at the reception was very helpful. Ensure to check the room location to avoid noise issues during your stay.

Had an amazing stay! The dining experience was top-notch with excellently cooked meals, especially the full Welsh breakfast and the lovely lamb for dinner. The spa pool was a perfect touch, nice and warm, but keep in mind it's on the smaller side. I’d definitely come back again!

Just a heads-up, the bathroom felt like it was stuck in the 80s and the water pressure could use a pep talk. Didn’t expect to play hide and seek with the sea view!
